Our Services
Micro-Hydropower (MHP) System Design & Installation
We design and develop community-managed micro-hydropower systems that provide clean, dependable electricity using locally available water resources.
Our Micro-Hydropower System Design and Installation service helps communities harness nearby rivers and streams to generate clean and reliable electricity.
From site assessment and system design to installation and community training, we support locally managed renewable energy systems built for long-term sustainability.
What We Deliver
Community-Led Project Development
We work with communities to identify energy needs, assess local resources, and plan systems through participatory processes—strengthening ownership from day one.
Appropriate System Design
Each site is different. We design micro-hydro systems based on flow, terrain, community demand, and safety—prioritizing efficiency, durability, and ease of maintenance.
Construction & Installation Support
From intake works and pipeline routing to powerhouse installation and distribution setup, we guide implementation using proven standards and practical field experience.
Monitoring & Maintenance Strengthening
We help improve reliability through maintenance planning, periodic technical support, system checks, and mentoring—so communities can prevent breakdowns and respond quickly when issues arise.
How It Works
A micro-hydro system generates electricity by directing stream water through a screened intake and into a penstock (pressurized pipe). As water flows downhill, gravity creates pressure that spins a turbine connected to a generator inside a small powerhouse. The electricity produced is then distributed through local power lines to homes and community facilities. The water is safely returned to the river downstream, continuing its natural course.
